Yesterday (November 14th) was StartUpDay, a day organised by StartUp Britain to celebrate start-ups and to encourage current businesses and professionals to take action to help a start-up in some way. As you all know, here at British Design Experts we specialise in offering professional design services for start-ups so we were keen to spread the word about StartUp Day and do our part.
Our StartUp Day logo design competition
We asked for start-ups interested in getting a logo design to get in touch with us about their start-up, to win the chance to get a free logo designed.
We really enjoyed reading about all the great start-up ideas that were sent to us, but unfortunately there could be only one winner. Thank you to everyone who entered, and we’d encourage you to place an order for a logo design with us, even though you didn’t win the competition.
The winner
The winner of our logo design competition is Sharp Lines Rugby, a start-up project which is currently growing a community through their blog www.sharplinesrugby.tumblr.com for rugby fans to discuss the latest rugby news and opinions. In the long-run they aim to set up rugby clinics for young people from under privileged backgrounds, using the sport of rugby to hopefully help change some young people’s lives. They are currently looking to raise awareness of their project, contacting potential sponsors who may be able to donate equipment (or offer small donations) to help get the clinic side of their start-up off the ground.
We’re now looking forward to working with Sharp Lines Rugby to design a logo for them. A professional logo design will go a long way in helping their promotional efforts, and give them a professional brand identity.
Always keen to help
At British Design Experts we understand that most start-ups can struggle to justify paying for a professional logo design. But we know how much of a difference professional logo design can make to your business, and with logo design services starting from just £60 there’s no reason why you can’t afford to get a professional logo design for your company. As we’ve mentioned before, free online logo makers just aren’t worth the hassle and can end up costing you more than a professional logo design. If you’re interested in hearing more about our services and how we can help you with creating a creative and professional brand for your company then just give us a call.
